Personality is the “equipment” that you use to make your way through life. It is vitally important to understand what yours are and how to leverage them to create happiness, have success and feel fulfilled. You feeling guilty is an aspect of your Personality.

Maybe you just have the “Balanced” Need.

When you don’t know how to use your Personality, you struggle to make certain things work out – like relationships and career advancements. Often you second guess or question yourself, spending more time overthinking things, confused or worried, instead of feeling sure of yourself.

THE TOUGH TRUTH ABOUT PERSONALITY

Yes, the tough part about Personality, is that you have your own unique set of “sports gear” and with that, no one could ever really teach you how to use who you are properly to reach your fullest potential. Your parents, caregivers and role models had their own stuff to use and were trying to figure out how to use their “equipment” to solve their issues and create their lives. So they weren’t necessarily capable to show you how to use what you have inside!

So what does it take for you to reach into that sports bag (called you) and pull out the right piece of gear (talent) at the right time? How do you get to being skillful at living your life, your way? Let’s solve this Personality enigma once and for all!

ABOUT THE BALANCED NEED
If you have the Balanced Need in one of the 12 Facets of your Complete Personality, then here are some of your positive aspects. You love to decide, honor and judge. You are balanced, respectful and dutiful.

In Your Head
It’s like walking a tightrope (or a modern slackline) and trying to balance opposites. Going off too much on either side is wrong, just as staying perfectly still in the middle is wrong too. You find more equilibrium in a slight sway back and forth that considers a little bit of both left and right. You notice things in the outside world that are right and wrong. You feel right and justify your decisions. You don’t want to lose other people’s respect nor be criticized for taking a wrong step. That would not be fair. You use cutting comments if anyone dares to shame or blame you.

In Your Heart and Soul
You feel best when you are being flexible, yet precise and decisive. You are honest, upright and dignified. This balancing act makes you strive for perfection but sometimes you are too severe with yourself and even too harsh with others. When you feel everything is perfect, even the mistakes, you become soft hearted and light.

In Your Body
A mind filled with truth and a heart filled with trust, create a body that stretches easily. You keep your body in shape by starting with your mind. When you look honestly at yourself, you know that you can make adjustments to all three of these areas. It’s a step forward and some sway side to side.

Your predictable pitfall is being very easily offended and even defensive. That makes you cutting sharp and direct. If you think others have lost respect for you, you could feel guilty, humiliated or ashamed. Your sweet spot is living responsibly, rightly giving to yourself and to others when you all deserve it!
